Hi guys, Is there a way to change the date of a product order?
I've got some orders that are being migrated manually into WHMCS and the dates need to be changed so that the period stated in the invoice is correct - and the reminders are generated at the correct dates every year.
If some user makes an order od December 1st and pays the invoice on December 5th, why should he have 4 days stripped away from him, or why should you have to manually correct the dates on the service details page and on the invoice?
Using the Fixed due dates module will make your life much easier as it also detects suspended accounts!
I know how to change the invoice dates but I don't think this will be reflected next year when the renewal comes up. WHMCS reply: The Registration Date value can be changed via the client's products/services tab.
Thanks, Kristy Thanks Daryl, Get so used to Googling, poking around the software and checking forums for answers that for a moment, I forgot the official support channels Will get in touch with them and update this thread if a way is found.
It could also be that the cron job is not being run, please refer to the above to check that.
Invoices are only generated once the service's Next Due Date is within the Setup Invoice Generation value, so if the Next Due Date is in the future no invoice will be generated.
There may be occasions where invoices are not generated as expected by the system.
